Placed an order through UberEats. This is a traditional NYC Chinese restaurant. The recipes taste like the same dishes I would order as a child growing up in the boroughs. I recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking traditional American Chinese. Very tasty. I would suggest ordering takeout because UberEats fees are exorbitant. I will definitely be adding this to my favorites in case I'm ever in the mood again for authentic American Chinese cuisine.

Best Wok is the best Chinese takeout spot within a 15-block radius here in Flatlands. i've been ordering and eating from Best Wok for over 16 years and have never had an issue. i usually order by phone and swing by to pick up my food, and on occasion they have delivered to my house. Other reviewers have mentioned that the decor isn't up to snuff and this is valid - it's the kind of spot you definitely order from and take out. However, i do like that they are family-owned and take pride in the food that they prepare for their patrons. The main chef has always been polite and kind to me, and they're always willing to adjust the spice level of anything i order. Overall, they're legit and obviously have staying power in the neighborhood. They're great!

Yeah, this place definitely does not get its great review for its decor. There's only two chipped paint tables in the establishment but it is pretty typical for your normal fast food Chinese store. I have been ordering here for years and by far the best things on the menu that I love are the Honey Wings and pork fried rice. The rice thankfully does not look nor taste as if it has been drenched in oil (as so many other Chinese places are known for) and the wings are always tasty, hot, and decently sized. I will warn you that one of the delivery guys (an older gentleman) likes to ask for his tip without any shame. Kudos to him working hard but that is not the way to go about it. All in all, if you are looking for a quick meal to fill you up without breaking the bank, you have found the right place!

I love food that tastes like real food not mystery meat or the junk they make in public school cafeterias. This is an example of perfectly done food. Yes its a bit scary when you come in and you see a counter with a plastic "gate" covering every inch of it and a gated iron door . A "home but hiding" vibe being given. But the food is what really matters. The chicken in my chicken and brocalli was what sold me to this place. The chicken actually tastes like chicken and the brocalli isnt soggy it was crunchy but cooked. The pork fried rice was very tasty. My friend ordered dumplings. and the meat filling was very flavorful. I will definitely try more items on the menu.
